As You Are — Remembering the Truths of Easter
Easter Day has passed, but the joy and truths of this season— who we are in our Heavenly Father’s sight extends beyond the occasion and festivities of Easter. We are reminded that because of the finished work on the Cross, we can celebrate the joy of our salvation and freedom daily. What a wonderful truth!

Loved Beyond Measure
“Does God really love me?”
It can be difficult to grasp the immense love of our God and Creator, almighty and sovereign as He is, would love us so deeply. Yet, that is exactly what He has extended to us through His Son, and continues to extend to us daily.
Regardless of the seasons we find ourselves in, the state of our being, or the journey we tread, our unwavering assurance rests in this truth — we are cherished beyond measure of words, deed and thought by a God who gives to us strength, peace and comfort sufficient for each day.

Never Unseen
“Does God really see me as I am?”
There’s an intimate sweetness in being truly seen and loved by those around us. It fills a void deep in our hearts and deepens our relationship with others. But what about God? It’s natural to wonder if He sees the struggles we face behind closed doors, the pain we endure in silence. Yet, Scripture assures us that even when we can’t see Him, He’s close to the brokenhearted.
Through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, we can have faith in things unseen, trusting that our Heavenly Father sees us for who we are, understands our deepest needs, and provides for us in His perfect timing.

Chosen with Purpose
“How can I be sure that I’m chosen by God?”
Deep within all of us, there is a longing in our hearts to be chosen, to feel or know that we’re wanted, to find our place in this world— in this life. While our hearts often strive for temporary approval and recognition from man, our God tells us that long before we knew Him, He has chosen us, for His good works and delight.
With Jesus’ declaration that “It Is Finished”, Scripture reminds us that we who believe are His chosen people, brought into communion and relationship with Him; so that we, too, may share His goodness, light and hope with others!

Saved by Grace
“Can God really save me?”
Life sometimes gets messy… really messy. We may have found ourselves in situations we never wished to be in, places we don’t want to be seen in, people we regret being with. Amidst this, how do we find the truth of God’s grace, sealed in our salvation?
Although God doesn’t promise we won’t stumble into sin again, Jesus’ death and resurrection has made a way for perfect fellowship between us and God — whether best-dressed or in a mess! There is no place too high or wide, no path too dark and narrow where He cannot reach us. He has saved us from the trenches of our sin, and gives us all we need to walk in His glorious light!

Embraced in His Love
“What does it mean to be embraced by God?”
For some or most of us, working hard and fighting for what we want is no foreign feat. In a world marked by competition, drive and hence, chaos, we often find ourselves striving and shouting to make our voices heard, all while trying our absolute best to keep it together.
When we come to the Father, we can push away the need to fight for His attention, shed away the pretense of perfection, and instead finding solace in the knowledge that in our moments of vulnerability, we are embraced securely in His loving arms.

Forgiven and Free
“How do I know if I’m truly forgiven by God?”
It’s easy to blurt out phrase like “God forgives you” or “Jesus loves you” as a conversation ‘band-aid’, but how does living in God’s forgiveness really look like?
The Bible says that when we humbly present our sins to God, acknowledging our dependence on His righteousness, He faithfully extends forgiveness. This grace is made possible and secured through the sacrifice of Jesus, who bore our sins on the Cross. Regardless of our past, present struggles, or future uncertainties, God promises daily renewal of His mercy and provides grace for every need. His forgiveness liberates us from the weight of guilt and shame, bringing lasting peace.
Through Jesus’ resurrection, we are also given the same empowerment to also forgive those who have wronged us. As Colossians 3:13 says — “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Called to Follow
“How do I know if I am called by God?”
We often associate the phrase “called by God” with people commissioned to do great things, uniquely tasked by God. But Scripture reminds us that all who know and believe in Christ are uniquely crafted by God for His good work. Whether tasks of great significance or seemingly lesser in importance, every task is valuable in His eyes.
God equips us with His Spirit, wisdom, and strength for the precise roles set apart for us. Whether we’re called to grand endeavors or small acts of service, we can take comfort in knowing that the Lord delights in our work as we offer ourselves to Him daily as a fragrant sacrifice.
